‘Regenerating Stones Corner’ seeks to explore opportunities for renewal and regeneration of an area at Stones Corner and its positioning as a key activity hub within Brisbane’s metro south.
The project’s analysis is summarised in a well-constructed and thoughtful report. The report is supported by excellent use of graphics, maps and photos which clearly demonstrate the context, issues and suggested responses.
The judges were impressed with the research and analysis of data related to demographics, accessibility, land uses, historical context and stakeholder opinions. The Judges were particularly impressed with the maturity and insight provided, with respect to understanding the process of research and analysis of planning issues.
