Graduate Town Planner
Reel Planning is a mid-sized town planning firm with offices in Brisbane, Rockhampton and Cairns. Reel Planning has a highly motivated team of 10 experienced professional planners engaged in a broad range of work covering development assessment, local government services, court appeals and strategic planning.
Reel Planning is seeking a graduate town planner to join its team. The role will be based in the Brisbane office, where you will work closely with our experienced team. The position will involve a wide range of planning work across all sectors of the Reel Planning business, including strategic and statutory planning work for our extensive regional local government client base, preparing private sector development applications and advice and providing assistance (to the Directors of Reel Planning who are regularly engaged as experts to assist the Court) on Planning and Environment and Land Court matters.

What the ideal applicant will possess:
- A tertiary qualification in town planning (or similar).
- 1-2 years experience in a town planning position will be viewed favourably however 4th Year University Students are encouraged to apply.
- An ability to clearly communicate in a range of settings (written and oral) both internally and externally to the organisation.
- An ability to work with others, including internally with other staff and externally with clients and other consultants.
- A willingness to learn and increase your town planning experience and skills as part of this role.
Salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and capabilities of the successful applicant.
