Town Planner
Acre Town Planning, a rapidly growing consultancy based in southern NSW, seeks a skilled Town Planner to join our team. This 100% remote role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis (minimum 0.6EFT) to interested candidates located in Victoria or NSW.
Working as part of a small, fully remote team, the position involves providing high quality planning advice and services to our established client-base. You will be responsible for preparing and managing applications for planning approval efficiently, with limited supervision. Enjoy working from home (or a hybrid arrangement may be possible) with no pressure to 'win' work.
Well-honed written and verbal communications skills, a curious mindset and determination to achieve the very best outcomes for our valued clients are key pre-requisites for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide robust and reliable advice to clients on a range of planning issues
- Prepare and manage planning applications with high attention to detail.
- Regularly liaise with clients and councils to ensure project success.
- Coordinate and collaborate with building designers and other specialist consultants (e.g. surveyors, civil engineers, etc).
Who are you:
- Tertiary qualified in town planning with 5+ years of experience in VIC or NSW (experience in both jurisdictions is not required but would be looked upon favourably).
- Confident and succinct communicator
- High level problem solving skills with a natural curiosity to investigate solutions that are ‘out of the box’
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively with limited supervision
- Personable and approachable –we pride ourselves on our positive relationships with Council and clients. We are looking for someone who enjoys building working relationships and rapport.
